_Clutch
lever repair for Series 1, 2 and 3 Lambretta’s.

the clutch lever pivot sinks into the handlebars housing.
_It’s
the beginning signs of a damaged lever hole.
_
_You
can tell if your lever has this damage by the worn edge.
_The
top lever has no damage and the hole is circular.
_
_I
wanted to use my original lever. Original parts always fit and
look better!
_A
common thing you will see in every type of motor and frame,
is a
_brass
bushing, when steel comes in contact with aluminum.
_Parts
to repair a damaged lever can be found at the local hardware
store.
_Brass
tubing: 5/16 x .014 (7.94mm)
_
_Drill
bit: 5/16
_
_The
best way to drill out the larger hole, is with a drill press
and
_secure
the lever with a clamp.
_
_The
damage space left, needs to be filled in.
_I
used pieces of metal and epoxy.
_
_Cut
off the extra material. Cleanup, and install.
_
